Ivy Station Night Market

At Ivy Station in Culver City, Something New brought playfulness and crowd energy to three separate events, delivering a fresh, interactive experience each time. With roughly 1,000 attendees per event spanning all ages, our game activations became reliable gathering points - drawing families, groups of friends, and curious passersby into the action.

To elevate the experience, we paired each activation with premium prizes, expert facilitation, and LED lighting for nighttime visibility and vibe. We also promoted the events to our own audience to help amplify reach and engagement. The result was a series that felt welcoming and memorable: kids loved the hands-on play, while adults enjoyed a nostalgic twist on something familiar - keeping participation strong and the atmosphere upbeat across all three events.

Case Study

Three-Game Package

Instead of repeating the same setup, we ran a different signature game at each event, giving Ivy Station a rotating interactive feature that felt new every time. This approach kept repeat visitors curious, created fresh moments to capture and share, and ensured each event had its own “can’t-miss” attraction.

Fun for All Ages

What made these activations stand out was how well they served a true mixed-age crowd. The games were simple to jump into and fun to watch, creating a natural social hub where families could play together and strangers could cheer each other on. With lighting and prizes adding polish, the experience felt elevated — like a mini festival moment built into the neighborhood.

Features & Add-Ons

The rentals came with full-service support from Something New as a carnival game vendor, turning the setup into a seamless, end-to-end experience.

Why it Worked

This series worked because it paired variety with consistency: a new game each event kept things fresh, while strong facilitation, lighting, and prizes made every activation feel polished and high-value. By meeting both kids and adults where they were - interactive fun for younger guests and nostalgic, familiar play for older ones - the games became a true crowd magnet that drove repeat engagement and memorable community moments.
