City of Lomita Founders Day

Something New was proud to be part of the City of Lomita's annual Founders Day celebration, a beloved two-day community festival held over a weekend in late June. As one of the city's most cherished traditions, Founders Day brings together residents of all ages for a weekend filled with fun, food, and community spirit. To keep the energy high and the smiles going across both days, Something New brought 10 carnival games per day, turning the festival grounds into an exciting, action-packed destination for families, kids, and neighbors to enjoy together. Capping off the first night with a massive, multi-minute fireworks display, the weekend became a truly unforgettable celebration of community pride.

Case Study

Ten-Game Package

To match the scale and spirit of a two-day community festival, Something New delivered a 10-game carnival package that kept the fun going from the first attendee to the last. With 10 games running each day, there was always something to play, always a reason to linger, and always a new memory being made somewhere on the festival grounds. The package was designed to serve large crowds across both days without missing a beat, giving families, kids, and neighbors a full lineup of carnival entertainment that made the celebration feel complete.

The Heart of Founders Day

What made this event shine was its ability to capture the warm, wholesome spirit of a true community celebration. Founders Day is the kind of event where neighbors reconnect, kids run between game booths, and families make memories that carry through the year. Something New's carnival games fit right into that fabric, adding an extra layer of excitement and interaction that kept guests engaged from the opening hour all the way through the spectacular fireworks finale on the first night.

By bringing 10 carnival games each day, Something New gave attendees of all ages a reason to gather, play, and stay engaged throughout the entire weekend.
